Finca Santa Teresa is an award winning specialty coffee farm that produces some of the world’s best coffee. With its meticulous care, rich volcanic soil, & high altitude, they make a very complex coffee. The effort & quality orientation of Finca Santa Teresa is reflected in Best of Panama, this farm frequently places top ten in 2005 – 2016, 2019 or for more than ten plus years.
Their Estribi plot is grown at 1475 masl on average. The Geisha cultivar produced in Estribi consisted of green tip & bronze tip.
The processing of the coffee starts from fully ripe cherries. Within hours from picking, it’s dried on raised bed at high altitude for 4 - 6 weeks, frequently turned every hour for even drying. Then it’s finished in the oven dryer before hulling.
We chose a natural process Geisha because we want to bring a complex fruitiness, yet elegant taste in your cup.
In the cup you will find Kumquat Orange, Lychee, & Jasmine with silky body. As the coffee cools, there will be more layer like Raspberry & Jasmine Tea.
